Bio: Dr. Jasmine Baker is a passionate bioinformatician with a Ph.D. and over 10 years of experience in scientific research. She excels at translating complex scientific concepts into clear and engaging communication for diverse audiences. Dr. Jasmine Baker leverages her strong foundation in life science techniques and data analysis to spearhead community outreach and engagement for the Open Cravat software. In her previous role, Dr. Jasmine Baker thrived in a collaborative research environment, instructing and training lab personnel, developing protocols, and contributing to peer-reviewed publications. Her problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for helping others translate seamlessly into exceptional technical support within the Open Cravat community. Dr. Jasmine Baker possesses a comprehensive bioinformatics skillset encompassing programming languages, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools. They are also proficient in wet bench techniques and various software packages commonly used in bioinformatics workflows. Dr. Jasmine Baker's dedication to clear communication and fostering a thriving Open Cravat community makes her an asset in advancing open-source scientific software.
